Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this website and, at a high level, how we work with clients. Every client project also gets a written quote that spells out the scope, price and timeline for that specific job. If anything here conflicts with your written quote, the quote wins.

Who we are

Anchor Web Digital builds websites and provides related services (design, redesign, SEO, maintenance and analytics setup) for small businesses, working remotely.

Quotes and payment

All project work is quoted as a fixed price, agreed in writing before work begins. Unless your quote says otherwise, payment is split in two: half to start, half when your site goes live. Maintenance plans are billed monthly, have no minimum term, and can be canceled anytime with effect from the next billing date.

Our guarantee

If you're not happy within the first 14 days of starting a project, tell us and we'll make it right or refund your deposit. We also show you a free design concept before you commit, if it's not for you, you owe nothing.

What you own

When your project is fully paid, you own your website, your domain and your content, completely. You're free to host it anywhere and work with anyone. We may ask your permission to mention your project as an example of our work; if you say no, that's the end of it.

What we need from you

You're responsible for the accuracy of the content you provide and for having the rights to any text, images or logos you supply. If content is delayed on your side, timelines shift accordingly, we'll always tell you when.

About SEO results

We build every site with genuine search engine optimisation and we'll always be straight with you about what's realistic. But nobody controls Google, so we don't promise specific rankings, traffic numbers or timeframes, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Using this website

You're welcome to browse and share what we publish. Don't misuse the site: no attempting to break in, scraping the contact form, or submitting false or malicious enquiries.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by things outside our control, including hosting outages, third-party services or changes to search engine algorithms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes won't apply retroactively to work already agreed.
