Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Anchor Web Digital (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.anchorwebdigital.ie, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you send us through the contact form, plus standard analytics about how the site is used. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Information you give us

When you submit our contact or quote form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service and budget you select, and your message. We also record which page the form was submitted from, your browser's user agent, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address to help prevent spam.

How we use it

We use your contact details to reply to your enquiry, prepare your quote and, if you become a client, deliver our services. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking, and we never sell or rent your information.

Where it's stored and who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run this website:

• Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless site analytics.
• Neon stores contact-form submissions in a secure database.
• Resend delivers our email notifications when a form is submitted.
• Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors use the site (see Cookies below).

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to help us see which pages people visit and how they found us. This information is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Visitors in the EU and UK are asked to opt in before any analytics cookies are set, and anyone can review or change their choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. If you use an ad or tracking blocker, the site works fine without analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work, and we delete them on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR in Europe and CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we'll handle it promptly, no forms or hoops.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.
